Travel

By Air:
Charlottesville Airport is accessible through direct flights from Atlanta, D.C., Philadelphia, Charlotte, Chicago, and New York.

By Train:
The Charlottesville, Va., train station is accessible via Amtrak from D.C. and other cities along the Northeast Regional and Crescent train lines.

By Car:
The University of Virginia School of Law is located at 580 Massie Road, directly off of Rt. 29.

From D.C. Route 66 East: Take exit 43A for Route 29, and follow it down to Charlottesville. Take a right onto Arlington Blvd, and follow it until you reach Massie. The Law School will be just in front.

Getting Around:
Charlottesville has a strong Uber presence. The Law School is only a few minutes away by car from the historic Downtown Mall, where there are excellent restaurants and bars.

Parking

On Friday, visitors may park in the Law School’s D-2 lots or the Visitor’s lot without a parking pass. The Visitor’s lot is located directly off of Nash Drive. After turning onto Nash Drive, immediately turn right into the Visitor’s lot. If the Visitor’s lot is full, you may park in any area designated “D-2” on either side of the Law School. Enter the Law School through the main entrance (Clay Hall) or the Slaughter Hall or Caplin Auditorium entrances and signs will direct you to the registration table.
